I'm still a newb so maybe i just havent figured it out. Is there a downside to keeping armor on 24/7? It doesn't stifle DP gain or anything does it? I sure hope not -_-;;; |

Armour doesn't seem to do anything except deflect mine damage; whether or not that will change in the future is up to our fabulous Trustees, but I hope it stays the same!

there isn't one. But if you don't want to be protected from mines for whatever reason, you can put your armour off. I mean, why not? |

The only positive I could see to taking it off is if I have nothing other than shields to lose if I'm hit with a mine. If I've spent all my DP I may as well save my shields since I'm already broke. |

Alternately, with armor off, you stand no chance of losing armor effectiveness. That way, you don't have to pay to replace it, to save points over the long run. Of course, then you're playing the spread on predicting where people are likely to place mines. |

Actually armor is cheaper than the cost of being minned. I lost 50dp with one mine, but 1 armor protects for 5 mines for only 200dp. So... I don't see why you'd ever want to take armor off. |
