Just to help improve PMOG, the developers should consider allowing players to develop badges at a certain level. I am sure the community would be able to come up with some inventive ideas for badges, and given the right badge-making approval process and/or API for creating badges, this would leverage your already growing community of fans :). |

I'm not to sure about a level requirement. Maybe have a pending badge system that uses votes. Higher levels gives a better priority? |

This would be pretty neat. Have a level minimum for creating the badge, then a slightly lower level minimum for voting yay/nay on badges. |

I actually like the voting process for badges, but the system should be constructed in such a way to 1) retain some meaningful achievement when users obtain badges (i.e. the badges shouldn't be too simple to obtain) and 2) users can express creativity when designing both the badges and the process to obtain the badges. I would like to see more badges linked to associations. Maybe there could be a level requirement to vote yay/nay on badges as well as the creating badges. Besides, there should be some point to gaining levels, right? :) |

I think level 15 and up should be able to make badges... that way there's not too many. |

I still want my '1000 Missions Taken' Badge to be put into effect...

I think this is an excellent idea, as it would take some of the pressure off of the mods. Maybe it could be similar to the Threadless voting system? Threadless has you look at a design and then rate it 0-5. Then, at the end of the week (I think), the highest rated ones get printed. I like stupid-noobie's idea of having a higher level giving more weight to your score. |

I'm at a relatively high level, and while I think I've figured out what makes a good mission to me, I don't think that should affect anyone else. To me, the Badges feel the same way...
Given that, I also don't know too much about metrics and vote weights, so perhaps there is some way to do this well. |
