When a person completes a mission, the creator gets 10DP. It doesn't matter if the mission is just the minimum 4 lightposts, or if it's a 50 lightpost monstrosity, the creator just gets 10DP. It would be awesome if the creator got 2DP per lightpost in the mission for each person that completed it. That way, if the person only does the minimum 4 lightposts, they only get 8DP per person. If they go just a little above the minimum, they get to keep the same 10DP they get now. But if they go to the effort to make a nice long mission, they can really rake in the DP. The way I figure it, it's harder and more time consuming to put together longer missions. People should be rewarded for their hard work, and this seems like the ideal way to do it. |

I approve of this thread. Unfortunately, I feel that it will lead to a huge glut of, as emberdione said, "50 page monstrosities" by people greedy for DP--instead of creating however many pages they feel appropriate for a mission. On the other hand, maybe that will be balanced by nobody taking them? Hmmm... |

I would only approve this is missions mentioned how many lightposts they are before you took them. Generally however I think that a reward based on rating is a better idea. |

I still think that rewards based on ratings are too easy to influence by rivals... But, with that said, more dp for longer missions! A better way to recoup your investment in a large number of lightposts would be awesome. |
