I think it would be cool if missions could somehow migrate between associations. I've thought of a few options... a) missions could change depending on the current primary association of the creator, and not just when they made them (perhaps excluding Shoat missions?) b) a user could pay some amount of DP to migrate a mission to their current association (maybe a fixed fee, or a variable one depending on the number of people who have already taken it or the number of pages in the mission?) c) the association could vary depending on the associations of those who take it? I forsee potential problems with this last one, though... |

Hmmm...if this could potentially address the issue of the out-balanced classes (of which only Vigilante has been somewhat neglected...the lack of Seers has *definitely* been corrected... ;D ), then I'm all for it! Personally, I feel that Option B is the best possible solution (though I'd be interested to see the potential scenarios for C). After all, in Option A, missions could be changing associations all the time, potentially having adverse affects on the number of missions for various associations. (?) The DP requirement will allow for mission transition, but not too much. Thoughts? |

I could work on getting to vigilante and making the rest of my website missions there. |

A) Yeah, I had thought of the server deal. C could have the same problem. B) I dunno, I'd probably pay to move my missions. C) Yeah, I had thought of that too. I guess it depends on what you see as the point of the missions having different associations. |

For what it's worth, option A would be almost trivial on the server. That's not really a heavy load. It would only have to look at each mission, find the owner, and set the mission to match the owner's association. A relatively simple for loops with a few (less than 1500, currently) database lookups. Do the associations of missions have any effect on gameplay? |
