Maybe I'm just not visiting the right sites, but it seems that there are almost no mines anywhere on the internet. I've been browsing a variety of sites for a few days now after creating my account, and my expectation of being blasted to pieces at every other webpage has suddenly turned into a confusion as to where all the mines actualy are. How often does everyone else stumble upon a mine? are they common but just on sites I evidently haven't visited, or are they indeed a rare occurance? |

In my experience they are pretty rare. I have been playing for 6 months and have hit only about 3 mines. I know a lot of the more active players mine each other regularly but in terms of the internet being filled with them I haven't seen it...yet. The biggest thing to remember is this game is still very new. Once more people start playing you should have to look over your shoulder much more. |

You haven't seen it? Just a few days ago I came passed a MySpace page that had 50 mines just chilling on it. Also every few days I can find at least one person who thought it would be cool to drop all their mines on google.com. Trust me. Mines are out there, but the key is that when you are "trying" to find them, you won't. :) If you want to mined, post things like this, because now the plethora of destroyers will take the chance to mine a n00b. :D |

Yeah, I guess I just have to remember the game is still new. It's kinda sad really because I bought loads of armour, hoping to make myself a bedouin rank. So if anyone wants to mine my profile, please I encourage it :D |

I'm here. I'm always here. And part of the reason there are few mines out there is that armor is a lot cheaper than mines, lasts for 3 explosions and Bedouins love tripping mines, so any stash, like the 50 that bunni3 found, will be promptly exhausted. |

PRisk has put a severe dent in the mining. Normally the net has a few more, but we're all saving up so we don't lose our pretty territories.
