Your top most association is attached to a mission that you create. So, when I was a benefactor and I made the myminicity loathing mission, http://pmog.com/missions/myminic...

This is now a benefactor mission, despite the fact that I may be encouraging the use of some mines.

So, the association attached the mission really has nothing to do with the mission itself, but taking it will help an individual get that much closer to becoming a benefactor, right?

For example, if I was looking to become a destroyer, using mines is an obvious choice, but taking missions that were designed by other destroyers would help me get there that much quicker, yes?
