Do badges get rewarded, when you have pmog paused? Specifically badges like, visit xkcd.com x times in y time frame.

I might not always want all the extra loading and popups happening during my browsing, but won't mind if some info is send to the pmog server to see if I visit a certain site or hit a mine.
I found that kind of passive rewarding the fun part of last years pmog version. Has the game become a little bit less passive?

There are times that you just don't need the extra distraction.
