Are they gone after one person takes a portal? Or any other certain amount players? |

Also, do crates have a timeout? Perhaps crates could 'age' and accrue more value with time? That way there's an incentive for scattering them to the far reaches of the internet. --Erty |

*LOL* (ertyseidel) Well, perhaps if the crate contained a bottle of wine ;). It's a funny idea, though. Maybe the armor could be all rusted or the Saint Nicks moth eaten by the time someone finds 'em. Thanks for the funny idea :D. Great way to start my morning. I don't think the idea's all that possible, though. The Crew is being bombarded with glitches they have to take care of, from the amount of posts I can see in the forums (some of them mine >.< - sorry guys!) and their time is being devoted to that. Also, the original placer of the items and portal could feel cheated out of the DP s/he used to purchase the items and place the portal (not to mention how annoying it would be to locate a crate only to find its contents useless - I'm sure it would be amusing the first few times). (Fishermang) I've been wondering the same thing myself. |

Oh man, I didn't know portals could run out! Too bad there's no way to know whether your portal is still going strong if you've taken it yourself... What if every 5* gave the portal one additional charge? Another Portal-related suggestion I'd like to make is that the amount of DP you get for people taking your Portal is proportional to the rating they give it (and a set amount if they don't rate it). |
