Im confused, in my character screen it says I have 10 St. Nicks but they do not show up on my tool bar. Am I glitching or am I doing something wrong.

Please help lol I can not figure out how to deploy them :P

You can't deploy a St. Nick from the toolbar because they attatch themselves to a player rather than to a page.

You can deploy them by attaching them to a player via their user page or after they have interacted with you in some way (if you trip one of their mines, for example).

If you go to my profile page now (click to the left) you should see a series of icons. These will let you send me a message, leave me a crate (if it's on my profile only I can loot it), mine me (I'd rather you didn't...) or attach a St. Nick.

If you want, you can try attaching a St. Nick to me. This will then follow me around until I try to lay a mine - it will foil my attempt and so prevent me from bothering other web users. Hence, use of St. Nicks is associated with Vigilantes.

Hope this helps!

St.Nicks don't show up on the toolbar, since they attach to players, not websites. To use them, either click the button to attach one to a person when you trip a mine and it gives you the popup with their name, or you can attach them using the button on their profile page. (the one that has a + overlaid with a picture of a nick)

St. Nicks are not on your Toolbar as they are not pre-emptive weapons, and are not attached to pages, only to players.
One is only able to set them if you have tripped over a mine, or if you visit a player's profile...

I have proposed putting Nicks onto the toolbar, just so people can easily see them without having to go back to their profile page. It's still up in the air though, so don't take that as a "it's going to happen" statement.

I agree with octalblack. I understand the principle, but it confuses almost every single new player to have every other tool in the toolbar except for this one. Also, it would be handy to have a count right in front of you.

I honestly just don't see the reason for having Nicks on the Toolbar...you can't use them offensively, so what's the difference?
If you need to see how many you have, go to the Shoppe or your profile, both easy to do from the Toolbar...
Of course, once you have over a thousand of them, it's moot... I don't need to keep count...

Agreed, if they're on the toolbar, people are just going to be all "Wha' happened? The Nick button isn't working! I keep going to websites and clicking it and it doesn't deploy anything!!"

Better to just leave it where it does its job, in my opinion.

Oh I don't know, I think it would be useful to have them on the toolbar as a button and then if you click on it when you're not on a user's page you get a simple "You must be on a PMOG user page" error.

Yes...and there will be threads about 'Why am I getting an error when I hit the St. Nicks button?'
It's a neverending cycle at this point, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't...unless they feel like adding explanatory text to the button...
