It would be nice to have some sort of indication on your profile of how many St. Nicks are attached to you. A specific number seems like it would be a bit much and spoil some of the fun, but perhaps some vague indication like "You have a St. Nick on you," "You have a few St. Nicks on you," "You've been swarmed with a flood of St. Nicks" and such would be appropriate.

I think the point of St. Nicks is that they're stealthy and you don't see them until it's too late. But that may be just me.

Yeah, you're right, so maybe with some kind of time delay? Like, if you don't lay any mines for a few days you suddenly notice a couple little bug-like machines clutching desperately to your legs?

Maybe some sort of fleeting and quick movement on the screen that could easily be missed or overlooked? The more and more Nicks you amass, the better the chance you have of getting a glimpse.

Maybe they could start to hinder in a different way if you got too many. Vigilante IS chaos based, after all ;)

Why not have a detector item which you can buy?
It won't tell you how much st nicks are on you, but in an off chance, it might be able to convert one st nick to your side?

how about a max amount of st.nicks are allowed on one person?
I mean, ending up with 20 odd st.nicks ruins a game for you lol..
