Mines cost 40 dp...and destroy 10 dp. Why would anyone use them? St Nicks cost 40 dp and save 10 dp. Also completely useless. To top it all off, mines can be foiled be armor, meaning that, if you factor in the price of armor, you are only taking away 8 or 9 dp from the person you are mining. So why do people use mines and st nicks?

If I wanted to play economics, I'd be on the stock market. Mines and St. Nicks are FUN. |

It's a game, the tools equal participation, thus fun. The cost is imaginary, based on surfing, which is fun. Answering you in this thread - useless. |

Mines need to be far, far cheaper though. Between St. Nicks and Armor, it's almost impossible to get a hit with a mine. Out of 40 I dropped in one day, I've gotten 3 hits. St. Nicks have a far better hit ratio, largely because there's no counter to them. The armor-nick-mine relationship is more like a rock-rock-scissors one. |
