What timezone dictates the start and end times for 24 hour periods or weekly periods?

For the indie badge you have to go without Google for 24 hours. Is this for any 24 hour period on a fuzzy start, fuzzy end scale? So 10am Tuesday til 10am Wednesday or is it 00:01am server time til 00:00pm server time.. which then needs to be calculated into local time?

Likewise for "visit each day during a week".. is that just local days or is it during contiguous 24 hour servertime periods?

If servertime counts, then a big ole PMOG Clock would sure help.

Hope someone can help this overthinker out.

Bump!

I asked a similar question on another thread and still don't have an answer. Part of the PMOG mystique, I guess! :)

The time starts when you visit a site, there is no server clock on site visits its all user unique.

edit* - For badges such as the Bounce Bounce, this will be 7 contiguous days. As far as I can tell this means you could visit on the 6th day at 23:59 and then the 7th at 00:01 and get the badge. (Pretty sure the time is set based on your profile settings).

There is however a server clock for various updates such as when badges show up on your profile...you may have to wait a day before they show up even though you've already earned them.

I agree with Kidfiction's statement; the Badgers seem to still be a bit off, but they do seem to just use your own Toolbar time, and not a strict clock based on Pmog time.

When I asked Merci, she mentioned that Pmog time was PST, but I still don't think that clears things up at all. : )

Could this be manipulated by adjusting my own PC clock?

Indeed, badges are still off. I should have had Indie & BounceBounce a while ago. I presume it'll get worked out eventually.

Yeah, I'm missing the VC, the Indie, Mii, the XKCD, and the Xbox badge...but that's okay. I have faith that future Badgers will make amends...

The Badgers have caught up with the XKCD and VC badges, so that's cool.
All the comments left on missions are in GMT--straight up. So if that's the Pmog time, then we're all wrong.
