I made a mission explaining how to make NoScript work with Pmog, but someone suggested I post it on the forum.

Basically, you need to mess with the advanced options of NoScript. Get to their options page, and go to the Advanced tab, and the XSS tab. You'll need to give NoScript a regular expression to allow Pmog, and the expression that I believe will handle it is, all on the next open line:

Hope this helps :)

I helped me a lot. I appreciate you taking the time to post it, both on the forums, and in a mission, as I couldn't figure out the XSS tab myself.

I didn't have any trouble, I don't think, but thank you (if I did but didn't know it).

Sadly, the fix didn't work for me. Even with the code line added, I still cannot complete missions without allowing the final site. And I cannot rate any portals if they dump me at an unallowed site, either. Any further updates to this issue?

It seems to work really well with FF2.0.0.14...
As far as the newer versions of Firefox, I actually think I'd prefer to see all the current bugs in Pmog worked out before support for the not-yet-settled-on versions is implemented.
But, hey...that's just me!

I'm on FF 2.0.0.14 as well and it still doesn't work for me - I keep getting the 500 errors which makes trying to take missions extremely annoying.

Worked here.
browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008050509 Firefox/3.0b5
OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Addon: NoScript v1.6.5

... wait, now it's not working. Well, I can dismiss dialog boxes now, but when I click on anything in a popup that isn't 'X - close', it tries to load URL '/Events' on the server that I'm looking at currently.
At least I know to look at XSS protection now.

Still doesn't work for me. I have to temporarily allow the site where I am to loot crates, complete missions and dismiss portals (that's the things I tried in the couple minutes since amending my XSS options in NoScript).

It's not working for me. Hopefully there'll be an update to resolve compatibility. Thanks anyways barril and grats on those who got it to work.

Using:
- Window XP
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

Not working for me either. All items fail unless I temporarily allow on the page, kinda annoying when I forget.

Honestly, the entire point of PMOG is to take information from what you are browsing--it is No Script's job to prevent that transfer of information from taking place...either you neuter No Script enough to keep playing PMOG or you don't.
In any case, please please please do not expect PMOG to conform to your extensions, if you like PMOG, remember to allow all the last pages--that's it, there is no other solution.

Well, in all honesty, as long as PMOG doesn't work with no script, even with added lines to the XSS stuff, it works in my favor. Bad things don't affect me, and I can disable it for the good stuff. So... whichever. I'd just like the game to work right without me having to be made vulnerable to possibly malicious sites that PMOG'ers might open portals to or the like.
