Just made it level 2, but I don't see any benefits of it. Is there any?

From what I read, there is a major disadvantage when you reach level 5. If there are no advantages for levelling up, why bother?

Maybe add a maximum of 'stuff' you can carry, missions you can create per level. This could also balance some of the ultimatepuff's of this world ;)

You start getting talent points at 10, which makes it a lot funner

Nah other than bragging rights there's no benefit as far as I know

Talent points? And you don't start getting them until level 10? I'm at level 10 and I have no idea what you're talking about.
Explain your idea of talent points, please?

*also ponders* what talent points might be...

Right now leveling up is its own reward. The game will grow with you, though, so there will be changes and improvements to the game as you play. Right now there's also no harm in NOT leveling up. Each to their own.

^^ you can only buy 3 tools from the top 3 associations that you follow.

I think that's kinda bad... I want to do everything on my own and not rely on other people

/me will try to go up to lvl 4 and stay there

Working with others is really integral to the game, at least from my point of view. It definitely makes it more fun, for sure.

If you're determined to do it solo-style, just keep in mind that you can always change your associations. So even though I'm a higher level player, I usually have access to all the Tools at one point every week--and then I stock up.

The thing that keeps bugging me is that I keep ending up with Vigilante in my associations, presumably just because I have a few Vigilantes in my acquaintances and take their missions. So the prospect of hitting level five and being marred by an association that only gets me access to a tool I don't want is a little upsetting. Likewise, avoiding missions made by acquaintances in order to avoid picking up the stench of Vigilantism is also a little disheartening.

Perhaps when you reach level 5 you should get access to some new tools, or just more powerful versions of the tools available to your associations? This would be pretty simple for mines, armor and st. nicks. More powerful crates could be multi-use (like 3 uses or something?). Not sure how portals or light posts could be enhanced...

Or maybe everything you can buy for the 3 associations could just be cheaper once your lvl 5 to offset the limitation of not being able to buy tools for other associations?

What do you think?

I think that making tools cheaper at lvl 5 makes sense, since you're so limited in which ones you can buy. If you specialize, then it should become a little easier to do what you've been doing so much to get to level 5.

But your association will change around--it is not set in stone. Plan accordingly and you will be still be able to buy all the Tools that you desire.

pixielo, I think you're starting to drag this into the AMOG (actively) in that we have to keep changing our associations on a almost daily basis requiring more work and effort than I'm willing to put into to play a passive game =)

but I also think that the lvl 5 requirement should be lowered to something like 3 maybe

I just don't see taking one mission daily for the association that you want to be as being 'active.' That seems to balance out all the Tools that I like to use...

A bit more tools for higher levels would definitly help. Also a more complex way to complex missions would be great. Something like a questionaire afterwards to see if one clicked next next next to complete or if he really watched the pages he looked at.

Level 5 restrictions?
Barely. You can always change associations again, and it's not the hardest thing in the world to trade.

All it is is that you're not a noob anymore, and your gaming is going to require (The slightest) thought = good
