For my Dogyssey puzzle, I've created a Woot-like ending where a crate will contain either really great stuff or really crappy stuff, much like the Bag of Crap phenomenon on Woot. It would be GREAT to have a special sort of crate that (1) can only be opened ONCE PER USER so that people can only raid it once, (2) automatically refills from the benefactor's resources, either with a fixed reward or variable one, based on the creator's set parameters.

Any chance of such a Bowl of Chew-toys/Bunch of Crackheads/Ballad of Cherishing/Bushel of Cabbage/Bag of Crap in the near future?

Second on the reloadable crates (like a crate subscription for X times, as long as you can pay for it).

Excellent idea on the variable items; I'd love the functionality of creating items myself - i.e. small icon, title, description, maybe DP amount it's worth. People could put them on their profiles for show, or trade them like collectibles.

That's a great idea. It will save some work for the Benefactors that want to hide crates for people who finish their missions but don't have the time to keep monitoring & refilling them.

Oh, I could actually award Roombas!!!! Or perhaps PmoGoombas. Wouldn't it be great if they swept our profiles for us, keeping them clean from mines until they got destroyed? :)

So, any word on refilling crates? Or anybody got a script written yet to check and see if a crate has been raided and automatically place a new one?

@lord-yo I like the crafting idea and especially collectable/tradable idea -- so these would go in the re-fillable crates too? nice!

I'd love an automatically replaceable crate, too. In the meantime, @vivaciouswoman - have you seen the Honor Crate System? How it works: while going through the mission, when you get to the Honor Crate page you must loot the crate that is there and stash a new crate in order to continue the mission. As a bonus, you can only loot the Honor Crate once every 24 hours. So, there will always be a crate stashed on the page for the next person to loot. [Edit: except when I tried the mission just now, there was no crate on the page and it blew up in my face and wouldn't let me continue after I'd stashed... hmmm] Unfortunately, this doesn't come out of the mission-maker's stash, so that's still something to work on...

Along this same theme, it would be nice if you got notified that a portal you placed had reached it's limit, and would give you the option of replacing it.
