I can't seem to set a lightpost on http://e-p-i-c.sourceforge.net/ -- if I try from the toolbar, the spinner spins then stops with nothing having happened. If I try to create it by hand on the lightposts-management page, I get a 500 error. Could it be that someone else already has a lightpost on that URL? Would that interfere? |

No, this has been a problem since early this afternoon, and I have been able to place lightposts on other URLs at the same time as getting this error. |

It might be the dashes in the url. Try making it a tinyurl.com, and add it manually when you make the mission. |

@Rjray That page is set in a frame...and frames 'break' PMOG.

Thanks! I didn't realize frame-sets were an issue, but I'll definitely remember that in the future! (Perhaps a better error from the manual-create form, than just a "500 Oops!"?) |

Scratch that... the URL http://e-p-i-c.sourceforge.net/m... also fails. No frame on this one. If I try to set from the toolbar, I get the "no page loaded" error. If I try to use the form I still get the 500 error. |

@rjray, Normally when this kind of thing happens - you're getting a no page loaded error. It's because something is stale in either your local cache or the server cache. I would recommend clearing your cache, and restarting Firefox. Hopefully that would help, but if you're tried that already, it might be best to just wait a little while for the dust to settle. Sorry you're having so much trouble with lightposts. You might also want to just try creating them from the mission generator itself instead of using the toolbar.

Not having problems with lightposts in general (placed plenty recently), just this one URL in particular. Cleared cache, restarted, no help. And note that I also have an error when I use the form on the /users/rjray/lightposts page. I suppose when I get ready to actually use that one, I can try creating it on-the-fly from the mission generator. |
