Some nice person dropped a few crates full of loot on my profile today, including several sets of armor. When I was using it to set off mines this afternoon, I noticed that it didn't seem to be lasting long - two tries, sometimes, but more often one. I figured that the gifted armor was all partially used or something like that; odd, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth! Well, now I'm back down to the sets I had before my benefactor, uh, benefacted me, and I'm still noticing the same thing; my armor is wearing out much faster than it should, and usually only surviving one or two detonations. I've tried logging out and back in and restarting firefox. Weirdness! Not a good day for it, either; it looks like there's still a lot of work to do to get Google cleared! |

I had the same problem for about 2 hours on Sun 9 March when my armour was blowing up after a single mine--and then it went back to the 5 mines per armour.
Edit: Y'all can pick on me for my use of dates...but remember for me that I tend to count the date changing at Midnight EDT, and the actual name of the day changes at daybreak. Call it the 'logic of Pixielo.' |

Mine went back to normal once I used up all the armor I had and bought some more - buying another piece before I'd used up what I had didn't fix it. I wish now I'd thought to try crating it all up and sending it to myself to see if that helped before I burned through 1,400dp or so of equipment, though. At least it's brought me that much closer to my 'shields up' badge! :-D |

It used to be 5. Mine have been lasting only 1 as well... I'm going to try crating them and looting the crate to see if that works. EDIT: No, it definitely didn't help... thanks a lot, mpaturet. I'll try burning through my remaining armor and buying some new pieces to see if THAT helps. EDIT 2: Getting all my armor destroyed and buying new pieces seems to have worked. But in an ironic twist of fate, at least one of the mines that I left on my own profile to destroy my own army seem to be sticky... :/ |

Gah! You, sir, are having a bad night. But yeah, if it's not just an isolated bug, and the only way to fix it is to use up everything you own (thanks for trying out the crating thing and reporting back, by the way) then I'm gonna try and avoid buying too much in advance for the time being. Keep those stores low in case I need to dispose of a bad batch. |

Okay, I just got some more armor crated to me, and the problem immediately returned - and, of course, it happened before I had gotten through much of what I had piled up, so I've got 10 pieces of buggy armor all together. Well, five now, hehe. I'm afraid to open any more crates! |
