I have 12 St. Nicks in my possesion but the tool doesn't appear on my toolbar and therefore I cannot deploy them. Do I have to be a certain level to deploy them? |

Nope phil, currently there are only two ways to deploy st. nicks. The first option is to browse to a user's page and click on the attach st. nick icon. The other way of applying st. nicks is whenever you get hit by a mine there is a button that says something to effect of seek sweet revenge with a st. nick. Hitting that will attach a st. nick to whomever dropped the mine. |

St. Nicks aren't on the toolbar, you get an option to use one when you trip a mine, or you can put them on people via their profile page =) (the buttons near the top of the page) --Edit--

This seems to be a common question and St. Nicks should be placed on the tool bar just for status and inventory reasons. The other tools are listed why not Nicks. |

Also, it makes it extremely hard to attach them to people with private profiles. |

I don't think that St. Nicks are intended to be a pro-active tool--thus no toolbar icon. The Vigilante aspect comes from gettting back at someone who has set a mine--so that you can only actively (without visiting their page) Nick them when you get hit. I think that the profiles will allow you to mine/Crate/St. Nick/and message a profile without any info except for the name. If that hasn't happened yet, it should show up soon. |

Datapoints aren't pro-active either, but they have an icon. I agree that they should be listed for status and inventory reasons. Clicking on the icon could explain that you need to go to a user page to deploy them. |

Well, Datapoints don't actually do anything, and you can always find out how many St. Nicks you have by looking at your profile. I just think that in the spirit of retribution, they are usually used in retaliation--so you can only actively do it when mined. In any case, it is definitely a highly polarizing topic. I imagine that the Devs are taking all responses into account. |

You can find out how many datapoints you have by looking at your profile, too, but it's nice to have all of your stats at a glance on your toolbar. Lack of St. Nicks on the toolbar is also confusing enough people that it should be considered, especially since the codex doesn't actually explain *how* to use them (or any other item for that matter). |
