metahari Level 15 Benefactor Posts: 52	I think it'd be neat if there were association forums that you could only access with your primary association. That way people who are actively working in one association can plot and scheme secretly. ;) Or, if you find yourself reset back to seer, losing your access to the Destroyer forums you'll have to find a way to get back into the good graces of your favorite primary association. by metahari 2 months ago \| Permalink

But anyway, they wouldn't get used I don't think. Associations switch too much, and its too easy to change, so there will never be a big epic war. By posting there I limit who can see my post, so what's the incentive. And the public forums for each association is only a good idea if we can mine them etc and get a nice war going. bunni3burn Level 20 Destroyer Posts: 1370	Very much. I love the idea of pages besides profiles that I can hit mines. Though that could be the Bedouin in me. :D They have a 50 mine limit on profiles. metahari Level 15 Benefactor Posts: 52	I don't think you need public ones at all, having only private ones available to you with your top association would make it more of a game feature. Otherwise you can just post in Gameplay or Strategy. While there would be as many new forums as there are associations, the user would only see one more at a time. This would add only 1 extra forum to all users their Top Association Forum. (where it would go would fluctuate with your association, of course) There would always be just one extra forum for you. by metahari 2 months ago \| Permalink

gbelste Level 16 Pathmaker Posts: 338	Well, it could be your top tool usage. Wasn't that how assoc. were chosen for a little while? Then you couldnt just have spies change their association for a day by using 10 mines to be a Destroyer. You can still have spies, but it would take work. And it wouldnt fluctuate much, so you would have a common group instead of random people. And the PMOG Characters can post there! They would be the main....Mod(?) in their respective assoc. And that way you would have a chance to interact with them! And some players also have a few squabbles about not wanting to read the forums because the alts will be allowed to post their. You may want to hold off on this particular feature until the associations get fixed since I'm showing as a destroyer at the moment without even a single mine used. emily_goddess Level 10 Destroyer Posts: 347	Well, all our forum posts display an association, so obviously there's still something in place keeping track of out "top association." We could just apply that to determine which forums a person could access. On the other hand, there's no reason the associations can't have off-site forums, with membership invite-only, or subject to approval by a mod who checks your PMOG history.
