Looks like opening multiple tabs on PMOG is doomed to burn your CPU on Debian/GNU/Linux with Firefox 2. FF starts eating CPU like crazy. I killed it before I had a chance to know if it goes on looping, but I guess it does. |

ozfallwind: I'm having the exact same issue. is there anything we can do? i'm also having a difficult time downloading anything and using gmail (all that ajax) and i'm wondering if those problems are related? |

I have checked the forum and it might due to conflicting addons with PMOG.
But to me, it's just too time consuming. And I have gone through my addon list, they are like essential to me than PMOG.

Yeah, luckily for me I disabled some extensions I wasn't using anyway and it worked again, but I don't think I would, for example, be willing to do without Web Developer. :-) |

Good to hear that. May I know which extensions did you disable to make it work?

I've got PMOG disabled at the moment because my FF kept keeling over. It rarely logs me in at the moment, anyhow. I also note that the latest upgrade to gmail isn't helping either :) |

I find that if I open several tabs at once, the CPU usage spikes for a while. However, normal surfing doesn't seem to have the same issues. I took a quick look at the socket connections for each tab, for every tab opened in firefox, PMOG makes a new connection to the 'mothership'. I'll do some testing with the plugin turned off to see the difference. |
