Can I permanently dismiss a mission? It drives me wild that the same ones pop up day after day, missions I have no interest in taking, and the "dismiss" button only works until I re-visit the page. Is this a bug or a feature? I vote bug.

This is something I would like too. Especially now that there are images in the alerts and they are BIGGER. You frequent a page with a mission AND a portal and it takes up half the height of the window which is kinda annoying when it happens every time you go there.

I find the threshold a good way to deal with this. I bumped mine up to 4 and they very rarely pop anymore. I go and search for missions instead of them coming to me. Unless they are five stars, in which case, not annoying.

Oooh, I feel for ya, arcticwoman. With that sort of reading, I'd suggest putting the game on pause (clicking the eye in the far left of the PMOG browser bar.) That should knock the popups on the head, while this topic is thrashed around a bit more.

I can also vouch for the idea of putting your 'PMOG Mission Content Quality Threshold' (in PMOG preferences, far left 'P' button in the bar) up to 4 or 5. Few, if any, missions have 5 stars, and this means that you only ever see popups for missions when you choose to take them.

Noting we're in beta -- it's the perfect time for suggesting tweaks and changes, but their implementation depends on the caffeination level of the wonderful developers, and the priority-levels on the gigantico-list of other things that need doing.
