I just cleaned 300 mines off of my profile page, all courtesy of ultimatepuff. I am not finished yet; there are more lurking for me. I had to stop and take a break, though...

I concede that I marked him as my rival; as an aspiring pathmaker, his sneering, spam-requesting, and boring missions offended me. I admit to laying portals on his missions to lure people to mine. I make no secret that I St Nicked him at every opportunity. I expected to be retaliated against; indeed, I complimented my rival when I got hit by the first wave of mines yesterday (which, by the way, are not counted in the 300 mentioned above... look at the event feed if you feel I am exaggerating).

My point is that the 300 mines that I have cleaned out this morning (to say nothing of the uncounted quantity I was hit with yesterday, which was enough to cost me over 1000 DPs and several suits of armor, and the clearly hundreds more that others have complained about, like joe and pixielo) retail for 30,000 DPs. ultimatepuff has earned only a fraction of that, according to his profile, and I find it hard to believe he has found a patron that generous in his short time playing.

Is there something that can be done here to fix whatever bug or loophole is surely being exploited?

If I am wrong, and I am being fairly slammed with so many mines, then I can accept that (though I would like to know if that is the case). It just seems very unlikely to me.

On a related note, is there any way I can clear out all the mines at once? I seem to be tripping only one at a time (or is it just one that never goes away?), and hitting refresh is getting *really* boring...

Yeah, I figured. Oh well. With that mindset, I am sure I am having more fun than he is, mines or no. Poor bastard...
