My primary association is set as Vigilante. I've only sent one St. Nick in my play time. Benefactor's set to secondary even though I make it a point to leave crates and take benefactor missions. And Bedouin is set to tertiary, even though I've never bought armor and only used it twice. Is there an actual error or should I just keep leaving crates and hope it changes? |

They're really messed up when you start out. Don't worry, mine flipped around a BUNCH during a week or so period...but now they've stayed steady for about a week. I wouldn't worry about it too much anyway since you're level 1. You've still got some time before they're set in stone. |

I think your associations also changed based on the missions you do, ie do a mission made by a Pathmaker and your Pathmaker rank will increase, eventually to the point it's your primary association. It sounds like you may have completed a lot of Vigilante quests, but as chetyre said, they're a bit unstable at first. My secondary association is Benefactor too, despite having never laid a crate. |

I don't know... I was a bou... er, the armor one for a long time with a vigilante secondary, as I have about 25 armor, have left well over 100 St. Nicks, and do those two missions mainly. I was out of town for a week, and when I logged back in just now I'm a pathmaker with seer secondary and destroyer tertiary. I've only done a handful of those actions and even fewer of the missions. I think something could be wrong since this happened to me out of nowhere. |

My associations change every few days depending upon Tool usage and which missions I've taken--it didn't seem to settle down until I hit level 5. However that is my experience, you may not have a similar one, but you probably will.

Alright, thanks to everyone. I was just a little confused because I thought I had avoided most non-benefactor missions -- but, ah, I'll deal. |
