If you attempt to lay a portal and get the "invalid portal" error for whatever reason, it still uses the portal from your toolbar and counts it as a portal laid for leveling purposes. I apologize if this has been noted already. I checked the big list of bugs thread and the top known issues thread and did not see it.

Oops, forgot to include a few things.

Browser: FF 2.0.0.14
Addons: Adblock plus, gmail manager, kodak easy share gallery companion, stumbleupon, user agent switcher, woot watcher.
Duplicates: Always. No exceptions that I've found
