I'm trying to go through the past forum items and I don't see anyone reporting this one. While I appreciate the little popup that appears when you receive a message, thus no longer requiring you to visit the Messages page for the most part, starting today my "latest" message keeps popping up on every single page I visit. No matter how much I close it, it appears again when I visit a new URL. Is anyone else seeing this problem? |

It sounds like you're "relogging" in each time you visit a new page. I'd sign out of the toolbar and sign back in, etc. and see if that helps you in any way. If it doesn't, let me know. |

I tried logging out and back into the toolbar and now the message notification doesn't appear as often, but it still does periodically. The annoying bit is that it's always the same message and it keeps claiming the message was sent 1 minute ago. |

What message is it? Sometimes it can appear duplicitous if it's a mining message such as "So-n-So has tripped your mine" when in fact it's a new message each time. Have you checked your message log to ensure it's actually one single message, and not a repeated message being sent... just to tie up that possibility? |

I'd suggest going to your message page and just clicking through a few pages and making sure PMOG thinks you read that message. Until it does, you'll keep getting that notification. |

The message is "(username)just looted your create on twitter.com! from pmog, 1 minute ago" - I see it in the lower right corner of my browser right now as I type this message. Even though it appears as one minute ago, I checked my messages page and it shows as 21 hours ago. I'm now going back and forth between my two pages' worth of messages to see if that doesn't toggle it. Will keep you posted. |

Ironically enough, the message has appeared again as I was going between the different messages pages of my account. As additional information, it doesn't seem to appear immediately upon loading a new page now, but after being on any page for a period of time - probably long enough for the toolbar to ping the site to check for messages. Am I the only one really reporting this issue? How odd. |

As an additional troubleshooting step, I attempted to trigger a new system message by leaving crates here and there. As expected, the new messages did show up as a pop-up, which was good since at least it wasn't the old message. The only challenge is that the same error persists and it seems to default to the last received message as the one to eternally display. It just popped up now in the corner of my screen even though I just came from my Messages page to confirm which one was the latest. |

I deleted a few, I think might have been causing an issue. Let me know if it is still happening. |

I've been testing it since you cleared the crates and it looks like the problem is gone for now. I'll let everyone know if it happens again. The challenges of being a Benefactor. =P |
