i looted a crate this morning, sent the person who left it a thank you message, and they sent one back to me saying youre welcome, and it keep popping up on every page about about 20 seconds saying its from the person less than a minute ago. it is maddening.

I'm having the same issue. It happened with an IM from a user as well as a system message about a new badge. |

No clue if this is related, but it's a consistent problem on my work computer (running Vista), and has not yet occurred on my home computer (running XP). |

I'm definitely still having this problem. In order to get the last "stuck" message to go away, I have to close FF, restart (re-login since that doesn't stick...) After that, the next message will get stuck. This has been going on for a while - I used to get the same behavior in FF2. I'm on: FF3.0

@Mmmpi I had the same issue...make sure that you go back a page or so to eliminate all the messages...especially if you are on a mad Mining or Nicking spree!
