I have problems editing my mission(s) although I should be able to drag around my lightposts, it doesn't work 90% of the time. Most of the time text gets marked or the editor is called. Ajax isn't always the best idea. |

Nope. Didn't work at all... Got it working 2 out of about 15 times... Very sad... |

This is a known issue. When the mission generator gets its time in the spotlight to be reworked, we're going to look into a better way of fixing how to move lightposts. As @sylvering said the easiest way to is refresh the page and the lightposts should be movable so long as you don't try to edit any of them. |

Ok, after some tries, moving lightposts did work after reloading the page... Sadly now I have a new problem with a mission I am currently generating... I've set up the mission as I'm supposed to... But when testing my mission it stops after the third lightpost, repeating position 3 over and over again... This obviously has nothing to do with the sites themselves... I've tested moving around those sites a little bit and those sites obviously work well when placed at a different position... But the Bug stays the same... I can't move past lightpost No. 3 (no matter which site is #3 or #4). EDIT: Deleting all but one lightpost didn't work eigther. The mission still repeats the third spot over and over again. |

I am playing around with your mission a bit, garonne. It seems like one of the URLs might be bad, but maybe not. It's clearly having trouble know which lightposts come after the next. Let me keep at it, and I'll get back to you in a few. |

I'd suggest making the mission over from scratch. I'm putting in a ticket to request someone make sure the lightposts positions are saving correctly in the database. |

Seems to be a repeatable problem. My second try has blocked too. Seems to be a problem, which arises when you add lightposts to an already existing mission. |

@garonne: in that case, give it 20 minutes and try again - sometimes missions get cached and you have to wait for that to clear. |

Ok, eigther it was a caching problem, or it has been solved during maintenance... I could test-run my first mission now... Next time I'll wait 24h... ^^ |

OK, I posted this in the toolbar bug thread and I have to admit, it has been a while since I made a mission. I apologize, Joe was right, this does sound like some "general PMOG hiccups." However, I thought I would still like to track my issue for any interested parties. 1) My first try at my mission: 3rd lightpost in, "something went wrong" error and no text in the lightpost. Deleted lightpost, found new site to replace it. Same error. 2) 2 days later, tried to test mission again, same problem. I started from scratch with a new mission, first lightpost blank and "something went wrong" error. 3) Same day, I made a new mission from scratch and 5th lightpost in, same error as above. 4) I read this post, and remembered hearing something about lightposts and caches before. I left it alone for a half hour. Tested mission, I got to the website for the 9th lightpost, but it had the text from 4th lightpost. Whoa! 10/10/08-- I made a new mission from scratch with the same lightposts and I get to the 9th lightpost, it has the text from the 4th and then the mission is stuck in a loop and I can't get out unless I abandon. I guess I'll try and nuke that website, uhg. 10/11/08-- I made a new mission from scratch with the same lightposts, deleted the lightpost that was giving me trouble, added a new one. I tested the mission and I made it to lightpost website 23, but no lightpost. I waited 30 minutes for the cache. I tried it again and it did the same thing. I edited lightpost 23, waited 30 minutes and I got all the way through, but when I hit complete, "something went wrong." I heard about this on the forum too, so I hit the back button, hit next & complete, it worked!! However, I wasn't brimming with confidence and switching out two of the websites meant that I need to edit some of the text after going through the entire thing for once. I edited the lightposts and decided to wait to test it later, hoping the changes cache. 10/12/08-- Well, I tested it today and lightpost 23 failed to pop-up, rendering the mission incomplete. I think this is why I am a benefactor, not a pathmaker, I have no patience for this. I have edited the 23rd lightpost, and now I am waiting for it to cache. Uhg. 10/12/08 Revisited-- You know the drill by now, I deleted the mission and started from scratch, again. Again, the lightpost did not work. So, I guess that I am about to delete the 3rd lightpost from my mission and find a new site. It's frustrating to go to the mission page and see missions that were created hours & minutes ago, yet, I haven't been able to make a single mission for the last 7 days. 10/12/08 Part 3-- Another mission from scratch, deleted the troublesome lightpost, made another one. Tested with complete success. I documented all this in hopes that it may help in the future, although I didn't seem to find anything for others to try except persistence. |

Well, I've been trying to test a mission I did yesterday but also have the looping problem. Half way through, no matter what URL/website it is, it just loops. I've waited almost 24h now and still it's doing the same thing...
