I took notice of this when I was double checking some things for the Indie Badge. At one time I got the "PMOG does not track secure pages" thing for my emails. Now, the toolbar is up and running in my inbox. It even had every intention of letting me set up a portal and stash a crate.

Once you get signed into you inbox, you are no longer on a secure page. The login page will be the https:// page. And that page pmog does not track. But yes you could lay things inside your inbox if you wished. |

What e-mail service are you using? As Bunni3 said, can you check the toolbar and make sure it says https:// and it is giving you the option of laying tools? |

Both Hotmail and Gmail, unless you force a secure connection, will allow the Toolbar to function. Pmog does not track form data, or what you write or read in your emails. Don't panic. |

Me in a panic would be weird. I guess, Ive never seen it happen. Curiosity mostly. The "Indie Badge" topic brought it up. Was trying to figure out if I needed to check GMail on IE for a couple days. Looks like Ill have to. Thanks. |

You use Gmail? Then your toolbar will not function on the sign on page. Once you sign in to Gmail the link goes from https://www.google.com to http://www.google.com. So yes you SHOULD see your toolbar and be able to use it once you get passed the login page for Gmail. |

If you don't log in to Gmail using the https:// page, it only uses SSL for the login and then drops you back to an unencrypted page. However, if you log in via the https:// page it stays https:// for the duration. There are firefox addons and greasemonkey scripts out there that will always force gmail to use the https:// connection - the best one in my opinion is Better Gmail 2. You might want to do this even if you have or are not trying to get the Indie badge, to prevent people from snooping your email traffic. |
