I am not sure if this is the right place to post - if not please forgive me - I am still a noobie . Whenever I go to someones portal and even sometimes just on pmog's pages I get a message saying I need a plug in and when I go to download it I then get this message No suitable plugins were found -:application/octet-stream plugin Can someone please let me know what to do one dumb brunette in the early hours of the am when she should be in bed LOL thanks in advance |

Hey This is because there is no media player defined in firefox to play .wav files. The problem is because PMOG plays sounds for mines or portals, and FF doesnt know what to play them with. You can install an app which will fix it, something like quicktime will sort it straight away, or you can configure an already installed app like media player or you can turn sounds off. To turn sounds off click the P in left of toolbar then preferences then in game preferences and disable sounds. If you need help with any of these options let me know Craig |

I have been reliably informed that this is due to some form of WAV file association error on your computer. It can be easily fixed by going to preferences and turning off the sounds for the events.
