When I'm trying to browse the internet using Firefox with the PMOG extension on, it feels worse than dial-up. Constantly taking 5-10 minutes to load pages, or not loading them at all. This if for every page. At first I thought my internet must be horrificly bad tonight. But if I start up IE and go to the same sites as I visit them in Firefox, IE will load them with the normal speed of only a couple of seconds, while Firefox takes many minutes.

I turn off the PMOG extension, restart firefox, and it works just fine, letting me browse around the internet again at "Lightning Speeds." Turning the extension back on puts it all back to slug-speed. Is it just me, or does trying to use PMOG make internet browsing completely impossible? Is there a way to fix it?

Are you running lots of other extensions?
Do you have FF optimized for max speed anyway?
Are you on broadband or dial-up? (I don't think that would affect too much, but it'd be interesting.)

I was having a similar issue (using broadband). It was either sooooooooooooo slow or it ended up crashing my browser practically ever page. It got to the point where I just disabled the extension. I posted about it the other day (titled "browser crashing" in this forum.)

It seems to be working ok today though after upgrading the extension to the new version. It's just the pmog site that is incredibly slow at the moment.

Only had it and a no-add extension, on broadband, on a pretty slick computer and I optomized firefox a little (but still left it most of its memory-hogging self).

Oddly enough, seems to work perfectly well today. Who'd have figured that saturday night would have so much internet traffic through pmog?

Hmm...I have noticed that my internet has been slower. Also Firefox seems to be using A LOT more memory after upgrading the toolbar. Couldn't swear these are related to PMOG but I just joined and these things just started happening recently so I am suspicious. Otherwise, I don't use very many extensions and scan for viruses/malwear regularly.

My browser usually runs fine with the PMOG toolbar on. Sometimes there's slowdown but the pages most affected are those of PMOG itself, sometimes taking up to ten minutes to load. I presumed that was just during peak PMOG usage. I'm surprised that they load at all as I usually just get a message that it has timed out.
