Hello, I think that you should start working on the compatibility between PMOG and Firefox 3 Beta (now at the 4th beta version and probably soon in an RC version), which is much faster than Firefox 2, and I have starting using it, as I always try new stuff, which is why I also tried PMOG. The problem is, I like both FF3 and PMOG, and I wish I didn't have to choose between the two. And I also think that there are other FF3 users/testers over here at PMOG. Am I right? |

Hi clickio - we're working hard on Firefox 3 compatibility right now! If you're willing to test it out for us, then please give it a try. Download the extension from the following location and it should find it runs smoothly: Let us know if you run into any problems... |

I have it downloaded and installed, but it only runs well in Firefox 2. In FF3 I get a "Login failed!" message on a yellow bar on top of the toolbar. Also, on Firefox 3 I can't seem to login on the website, and also when I click on the Forgot password, I get a 500 error. |

I finally managed to change my password, but still no luck when trying to log in with the new password in Firefox3. |

I've been using FFb4 for about a week-ish now, too, and I actually have far fewer problems with PMOG than I did in FF2. So........ do I get a cookie? No? It was worth a shot. |

clickio, Go ahead and check the following. 1. Go to Preference in Firefox
Will it let you log into the toolbar now (in FF3 B4) or was there no entry period? Thanks,

Yes, now I managed to login, but it looks awkward. It has the background of the FF menu bars, and I can only see the icons, i have to mouseover to also see the text. |

This is a known issue with FF3 B4... the lack of a background. The good people of PMOG are working on it; I am very glad to hear you are able to log in now. Rest assured. |

And practicing NECROMANCY I THUS RESURRECT THIS THREAD.... And ask... Does anyone agree that PMOG is less buggy in FF3b5? I am having serious bug issues with crates and it seems like I might be the only one. |

Seems to be more buggy for me. Especially concerning the other FFx3b5 discussions . . Then again, it may just be OSX + PMOG that is bugging out. |

Playing a little bit on Swiftfox FF3B5 on my Ubuntu machine this weekend I noticed that I had a lot of issues (freezing, slow recovery of minimised windows, etc.) that seemed to go away after disabling the PMOG extension. I think I may have to just use PMOG on my Flock/social profile and leave my regular browsing to FF. It doesn't seem to be so bad until I hit like... 10 or 15 tabs (not all PMOG related), then things go really screwy. EDIT: D'oh. Dead thread. Sorry. |

You know, my toolbar hasn't worked for weeks. I don't collect datapoints, I can't lay crates or deploy mines, I can't turn my armor on and off.... The little icon doesn't spin when when I go to a new or reloaded site, so I don't think the toolbar is working at all. I'm running Firefox/3.0b5 on OS 10.5.2. Yesterday, I logged out and logged back in and the system awarded me with an additional 10 dp, but I haven't been able to collect more since then.... |

I had that problem too, but then suddenly things started working again. You don't have NoScript, do you? |
rebeccablood![]() Level 12 Posts: 110 |
I don't *think* so - tell me how to check. |

Ack. Forgot to come back to check for replies. Sorry. :/ NoScript is a Firefox extension. If you have it installed (I don't know how your setup is, but unless someone else uses your computer you'd know if you have it because you'd have to install it) it would be in the Add-Ons panel. It blocks javascript via a whitelist system, which is nice for some sites, but can be a headache on some others (Lots of sites require javascript for different things). PMOG more than likely uses javascript on a global level, which is difficult to allow in NoScript. |
