When I first signed up, the portals looked to be working fine, the description was a hyperlink to the page in question. Today and yesterday, though, the portals are just coming up as plaintext for the description, so they don't actually go anywhere. This applies to my own and other peoples I've seen. Is this just me, or...? |

I haven't had the same problem, but I have had a problem with setting up a portal and then going to where it would take me by entering the address into the browser, and it still counts as if I walked through the portal. Also, sometimes portals don't come up, then they do, then they don't again. I've been trying to replicate when they don't come up, but haven't had success on that. |

That kind of happens with me, also. I'm looking at a portal I laid on http://alt.org/nethack right now. No hyperlink on the description, I notice there's a link on the portal picture next to my usericon, but it's just a link to the page I'm already on. Edit: OK, oddly enough, in the statusbar at the bottom of firefox, it's describing the link as 'http://alt.org/nethack/#', but if you actually click on it, it takes you to where I intended it to go. Go figure ;) |

Right. That http://alt.org/nethack/# is there because it references the code in the portal on where to go. This way you can't cheat and find out where you're going by looking at the status bar. :D |

Yeah, the link got moved from the text to the picture of the portal in the box. |
