someone just dumped a bunch of mines on my profile, so I used the trick of crating all my DP on a secret web page, turning off my armor, and detonating all the mines. Then I picked up my crate and put my armor back on. The downside is, I now appear to be a benefactor again, despite being the recipient of my own crate. This is the first time my association changed during play as a opposed to overnight. Maybe the Benefactor association shouldn't give you credit for giving yourself DP. Also, how did awesome get so many resources???

Either Awesome hits a lot of random websites just for the DP or created some missions that a lot of people have been taking. |

skawesome does it too. I get the feeling it's opening up random websites while he sleeps. Proper hax. :-( Nobody reads 4,000 websites per day like he needs to have in order to get that much DP and a snowglobe. |

skawesome and awesome play all the time and are pretty generous as well. (Shh, don't let them hear that) @evil-jim You're right, people take their missions. |

You would be amazed at much play and amigos can generate; if I had a "Total DP accumulated and spent" meter vs. the "Total DP Earned," meter--I'd be waaaay up there. From my conversations with these two, there are no 'hax' involved. It's like this--I take a lot of missions, I make a few missions, and a lot of people just crate me stuff. So I buy Tools, and then use them. If I bothered counting how much DP I've been though, it would far surpass the 56k or so that I've earned. And as it is, I usually make around 2k a day... |

I gotta write me some missions & good quality jaunts too. The sort people will be taking for months. But I can't just throw a bunch down out of my lightposts & be good with it. They must be perfect! Then I shall rake in the DP. I shall be a MILLIONAIRE! BWAHA HA HA HAAAAA!!!!! |

Yeah... once you find out how to do that, be sure to tell me :P |

Wait, you get money for people taking your missions? How much? Why don't the other items give you money? |
pixielo![]() Level 20 Posts: 3706 |
You get 10 dp for each person that takes your mission.
I think I remember getting 2 dp for foiling a mine with Armour--but that may be incorrect.

1 dp for TAG or comment on a mission? |

Wait, do you get 1 DP for tagging missions? I get 2 for tagging players, so I try to do that a bit. Coming up with nicknames to your contacts can be quite fun. |

the problem is getting people to take your missions without putting PMOG.com or PMOG.com/missions as one of the page. I wish there was a way to loosely categorize your pmog so people who are interested in that kind of thing can find it. But thinking up all those categories would be quite a job! |

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. I'm taking almost any mission that I find a little interesting, but that doesn't seem to be the case for most players. |

Also, awesome and skawesome may be addicted to StumbleUpon (like I am) and use the toolbar a lot. It's a great way of getting unique domains quickly if you just sit there and press the button over and over. This may not refer to them, but I remember seeing some problem reports about users saying they got the snowglobe badge when they didn't earn it. |
