But I haven't used very many St. Nicks (though I've bought several to exchange for mines, if that counts for anything) and have done very few, if any, Vigilante missions. On the other hand, I've used as many mines as I can get my hands on and taken several Destroyer missions, but the only association in my top 3 (in the toolbar, to the left of lightposts) is Vigilante; the other two are Shoat. So how exactly are associations determined? This just happened today when I logged on, and I'm glad I've got my Vigilante down, but I was mainly going for Destroyer with Vigilante as my second or third and have been working towards that. |

Associations seem to be working again--but may be a little slow on the uptake... I see that at 8:22 am 2/28/08, that, yes--you are a Destroyer! And as if 12:55 pm EST 3/3/08, that, yes--you are a Vigilante! |

Okay, I'm a little confused. I thought that once we reached level five, our associations were set in stone. So I come back to pmog after being away on business for four days to find that my associations have completely changed--and I had been a level 6! (also came back to being level 7 thanks to the new leveling requirements :) So, even after level 5 my associations can still change? That's kind of a bummer because it then means that there are certain missions I can never, ever take--no matter how interesting they may look--if I want to avoid becoming affiliated with that association. :( |

Okay, so I'm a Destroyer now with Vigilante as my secondary association. I took more destroyer missions yesterday after posting this and got some more mines, so I guess associations have been at least partially fixed and the stuff to determine what you are started the day before then. |

Sometimes our true calling isn't what we expect. I hope our associations aren't set in stone after level 5. It would be fair that to change associations after that should take some effort but I haven't yet decided whether I want to be a Seer or a Pathmaker & I'm rapidly approaching level 3 already. As it is, I noticed my three associations changed from all Shoat to Pathmaker, Bedouin & Seer the other night. After taking a few Seer missions they changed again today. I'm not to worried about having the proper one in place when it finally is time to decide on one. |

somehow it doesn't seem quite right that I'm a destroyer having only used _one_ mine though... |

I'm having problems too. Just a few days ago my associations were as they should be, but now they've been completely messed up.
Meanwhile, the one association I should definitely have, Vigilante, isn't even showing up. |

now here's an interesting turn of fate, today I'm a riveter...and the class description is "do not exist", so does this mean I don't exist? That I am perhaps writing this message from a parallel space/time continuum? |

@ Firemonk3y Congrats on the Riveter status. I strongly recommend you take this mission. |

Wow, didn't know you could access the new classes yet... Anyway, I've had the same problem. As of last Friday, I was Vigilante/Pathmaker/Benefactor. My associations have changed several times since then (to currently Benefactor/Vigilante/Seer) even though I've only ever used Saint Nick's and primarily try to do even amounts of missions from all of the classes (except Destroyer and Seer, so I don't know how they've been popping up on my associations). |
