Twice now (but only since I started using firefox 3), on two different occasions, I've set off my own mine without visiting the page I placed the mine on. Instead, if I do a Google search identical to one I did earlier before placing the mine (and the page I mined is in the search results)-- kaboom!

For example, I want to mine a specific user, "username."
I google "username" to see if said user has sites besides PMOG where they use the same handle. I click through, place the mine.

Later that day, after earning more DP and buying more mines, I once again google "username," in order to mine more pages, but as soon as the Google results show up (and the results do include a page that I've mined earlier), I trip my own mine.

Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

If the page you're attempting to mine hasn't fully finished loading it'll place the mine on the previous page. Meaning the google results page. Could be this is what you're experiencing...
