rebeccablood Level 12 Vigilante Posts: 110	on my profile page, my summary says I've had 4 St Nick interventions. My history lists msny more than that. My history is more accurate. It makes me wonder how accurate the counts are of the other tool usage, and might go a long way toward explaining the general wonkiness of Associations in general, depending on the dependencies. :) This will affect both my Association, and my ability to level up. Well, my page tells me that I need to use 70 St Nicks to go up to Level 10 - the full amount needed, so that supports salmontickler's interpretation. (FWIW, I expected the summary to reflect my usage. Do all the summary stats reflect other people's usage on you? It should be consistent, one way or the other.) However, the problem remains. At the top of my profile page, I'm being told I need to use the full amount of St Nicks in order to level up, but my history shows that I've used quite a large number already, many of which have exploded. by rebeccablood 7 months ago \| Permalink
salmontickler Steward Level 20 Destroyer Posts: 1428	I cant access my profile at the moment but if i remember rightly it is something like this Crates=how many of your stashed crates have been looted, not how many you have stashed Armor=how many pieces you have worn (mines you have tripped) lightposts=how many you have laid portals= how many times your portals have been taken, not how many you have taken Mines=how many of your mines actually exploded St Nicks=how many nicks have been attached to you I hope that makes sense. by salmontickler 7 months ago \| Permalink
rebeccablood Level 12 Vigilante Posts: 110	It makes sense, thanks. And by your account, the St Nick count is inconsistent with the other tool counts. To be consistent, the St Nick count should be the number of St Nicks you laid, that have gone off. It seems to me they should all be things the player has done, or things other players have done, not a mix. Edited to add: I just went to look again, and the section is entitled "Inventory Usage" which really would indicate that the St Nicks listed are (or should be) ones laid by that player, not by others. by rebeccablood 7 months ago \| Permalink

Crates are right on, the # that have been looted, not just left. 731 stashed Armour = complete pieces destroyed, 3 mines per suit 410 worn Lightposts are right on. 180 lit Mines are right on. 1166 laid Portals is a bit hazy, it may be the # of trips your Portals have garnered + the number of Portals that you have taken...maybe! I tend to side with # of trips taken on your Portals... 482 deployed Nicks = how many Nicks you have deployed that have actually been used to fail mines... 352 intervened Perfect! by pixielo 7 months ago \| Permalink

(Hoping that one of the trustees is reading this) I'm making the case that they should not be treated differently, and/or that "Inventory Usage" is a misleading title for that particular statistic. @pixielo: that's what I would have thought, and if it is the case, my history shows it's completely untrue. If it is St Nicks laid on me (that have exploded) then it could be correct. Either way my count is off, because the "level progress" chart shows that either I've never attached a St Nick, or that none have gone off - but my history shows that a fair number of my Nicks have gone off. by rebeccablood 7 months ago \| Permalink

salmontickler Steward Level 20 Destroyer Posts: 1428	The only reason i know about the portals is i have taken about 5 at the most. cos my browser goes nuts. but i dropped 1 and only 1 and it went up every few days til it hit 49, and its stuck there As for Nicks I never nick anyone, so i take the number as the number of nicks that have been attached to me to prevent me laying a mine. It cant be anything else for me, as I dont nick people, as a good destroyer I mine them. by salmontickler 7 months ago \| Permalink

Currently, the text displayed (meaning the verbs following the tool) are what the designers envisioned usage to mean. Right now though, that's not the case. I will talk to Capstinence to see if he can change them to best relfect what they're actually measuring in the meanwhile. St. Nicks, for example, are the number of St. Nicks deployed and then triggered by another player who tries to set a mine. There may be some discrepancy for a number of reasons, including caching, St. Nicking someone when they're already at max St. Nick capacity, or St. Nicks not taking hold for some buggy reason. by burdenday 7 months ago \| Permalink
