Every time I try to make a crate, I just get the message "Failed to Stash Crate", with no explanation as to why. Worse, my crates are being subtracted even though they dont stash (the datapoints and tools are not subtracted though). I have stashed 2 sucessfully, but failed at maybe 10. In the last one that failed, I was trying to leave a gift for another Passive-ist. I dont see how I could possibly be filling out the web form incorrectly, but I am a noob, so maybe I am missing something about how this is supposed to work? I cant afford to stash more until I figure this out, and it is really sucking the fun out of the game for me. If anyone has an idea for me, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks! |

Are you putting more than 10 tools total (not under 10 of each) in the crate? I have also noticed that tools and dp sometimes don't mix well except in small amounts. |

I have been mixing it up, but in general I have tried to post exactly 10 DP, plus 10 other tools. I will keep experimenting, but since every time I get it wrong I lose a crate, I am getting a little gunshy! Thanks for the help! |

That's too much for a crate. Read the instructions carefully: you can stash either 10 tools or 1000 DP, not both. If you stash 10 tools, do not stash any DP in that crate. If you stash 1000 DP, do not stash any tools in that crate. When you are stashing, 100 DP takes up roughly the same space in a crate as one tool; so, one crate can hold 5 tools and 500 DP because they take up the same amount of space. Similarly, 6 tools and 400 DP would stash successfully. Your attempted stash of 10 tools + 10 DP is too much; sorry you've been losing crates :/ Hope this all makes sense. |

AHA! Thank you soooo much! That wasnt at all clear to me from reading the instructions, but now I get it! Would be nice if there was a message like *Hey noob, you are stuffing too much stuff in the box!* or something along those lines... but glad anyway that there are helpful people to point out the error of my ways! |

Heh, yeah it would be nice if the "YOUR CRATE FAILED" message had a "here's why:" explanation. I remember losing a dozen crates one day and not understanding why. Glad to help! |
