I haven't been logged in for a while, so imagine my surprise when I log in, and find out that I am no longer a vigilante! no, I am now a seer, benefactor, and pathmaker. I have no idea why these changed, because I never use portals, crates, or lampposts. Nor have I taken any missions that may affect my association. I'm also level nine, so I can't just buy a ton of St. Nicks and go back to being a vigilante. Is this a bug? Is this a known issue? Or am I just complaining about something trivial? |

Hey, exact same thing happened to me! I was a vigilante bedouin and I think destroyer (pretty sure I have only ever placed ONE mine). With the stat reset, perhaps the three chosen for us are the "default" ones? I hope I can use just one St Nick to reestablish my Vigilante status. I have very few Nicks left. |

Associations are not static, but very dynamic. Every 72 hours your slate is wiped clean, and your association is again determined by activity taken (missions taken, items used) You're not pegged into any association very rigidly. |

Yeah they are dynamic, but once in awhile I will notice I have Seer pop up as one of my associations. Okay, I stopped using portals when I was lvl 2, *never* placed a portal, and have not done any seer missions. So what the heck? Between Bedouin, Pathmaker, Vigilante and Benefactor I understand, as I seem to flit amongst them. edit: I also have left portals in with some crates, though I have never bought any more. Not sure if this is affecting it (shouldn't be, as much as giving away mines makes you a destroyer). |

Thanks for the FAQ, though it doesn't directly answer my concern is if I never take Seer missions, and don't place/use portals, then why does it show up for me at times? It does indirectly answer that question by saying that PMOG just went out of beta and is a bit buggy still. I can live with that. :) |
