Hello, The mission Prev/Next (and whatever new controls we might get later on..) should be ON the bar. This would solve many many of the problems from sites that can't handle the overlay to sites which redirect etc.. Currently the bar is not very efficiently using this space anyhow:
Thanks! |

The Eyeball for pausing is in the Toolbar--I think this a perfect place for it. "- the menu for the character I am is interesting but it doesn't really do anything "
I love having all my equipment stats right there, and I find it helpful when I run across crates or want to deploy one. I think the current reasoning behind there not having St. Nicks on the toolbar is that they are vengeance tools, and not to be casually deployed. |

I would like to see a link to the forums added to the menu that pops up from the PMOG symbol... |

I thought about making the suggestion of adding mission commands to the bar, but the problem is with the comments. Nice descriptive comments that help make up a mission wouldn't fit too well. Although not having to deal with popups on my page (which may or may not show up) would be nice. |

Lets avoid discussing the rest - these things become long... You can always have the message appear as it currently does in the page. Its just with the nav on the nav bar you will have: - no problems with CDNs like akamai which direct you to other subtle versions of the domain
Pixelo is right my description was bad:
Its not so useful at the moment.. |

My personal observations regarding the PMOG tool bar & this conversation: The "eye" pause button could stay or go or be moved to the "P" drop up menu. I don't really use it & if I want to stop playing I just sign out. The status bar gives a quick & convent glance at my level progress but I usually just mouse over my level or next level number to get an accurate idea on how many DP I need. The current, second & third association indicator I find very useful. It's different every day due to my actions with PMOG. If I want to be & stay a Seer I need to keep an eye on my associations at all time, especially since I'm still under level 5. The tool buttons are very useful for spur-of-the-moment item use. When I absolutely must place a portal or lightpost NOW. My ownly qualm is that they lose quite a bit of detail when shrunk down so much. For example, the armour icon looks like a winged insect. I think portals should look more swirly & less like a record. The IM button is handy for when you run into a mission or portal bug in the wild & want to report it without losing your trail. Putting the The Prev/Next buttons on the tool bar while on a mission would significantly help continuing through flash & other websites that block the PMOG lightposts. Anyway, my two bucks. |

I like the idea of the next/previous links being on the toolbar as a backup. I've run into a few missions that take me to google.com but since I am in australia it automatically redirects me to google.com.au which of course does NOT have the mission on it. Its rather frustrating actually. I also like the idea of getting rid of the level progress bar or at least making it smaller or optional to display (perhaps a "customise toolbar" option for the extension? - then you could also just have the tools you want displayed.) I don't ever seem to notice much of a change as I progress and I usually mouse over it to see how many points I have to go so just a textual "level 3" that you can mouse over would be good. |

I think the idea of next/previous link being on the toolbar is a great idea. |

I also agree on the prev/next buttons on the toolbar. I've had a lot of trouble trying not being able to see the embedded navigation box on some missions. |

Alright.. I have a different view that maybe some have not considered.. you all are just taking a normal mission.. have and of you taken the mission some_advanced_pmogging? If the prev/next buttons were on the toolbar then this mission would basically be ruined.. and any mission that people make like it (which I hope to see more like it in the near future). If the buttons were to be put on the toolbar then I would want them to be optional as controlled by the mission you are on. So if the mission is a basic tour mission where you just go through various sites without even thinking.. then yeah, that would be great. But if it is some kind of puzzle mission, then the buttons should not appear. |

Missions which use the missing next button are cool but could be very easy to create by allowing the mission author to make entries in the sequence which hide the next button. I think this feature of hiding next should also be implemented becuase its such a pain to find workaround to block this next functionality. I had made a similar one: http://pmog.com/missions/fnordly but it would have been much more elegant with disabled next for some pages. |
