Browser Version: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Bug Location: Missions The Problem: Testing a mission, when I discover an error, and I edit the order of the lightposts, the error remains in the mission. Especially frustrating. I tried deleting the mission and starting over, and still, same thing. The mission doesn't "recompile" after editing. What were you doing at the time?: Simply editing a mission. Operating System: WinXP Miscellaneous: Drinking green tea and eating gold fish. Also, cat present. Purring may have caused quantum errors. Boxers or Briefs: Dude, srsly? If I have to choose, I wear my husband's silk boxers. |

Yep. Same problem I have. I try to eit a mission, but the page I removed still stays there. |

Perhaps this was caused by parts of the site being down due to updates? I do believe that our amazing Pmog team had planned on the site being a bit wonky during low traffic times for updating...

I've been running into that, and I think it's a browser cache issue. I deleted a lamppost out of frustration that it was stuck, and it was still in the mission! So I cleared my disk cache, and exited firefox, and restarted, and low and behold, the mission now matched what I had edited. I think the code should generate a unique tag in the links when it builds missions, so that changes would get a new tag, and thus not cache old configurations. |

Wait for the servers to update--don't expect instantaneous responses from the Pmog servers...

This is definitely a problem. I'd like to participate in this game but if I have to wait a few hours to make edits or manually clear the cache and then restart every time I want to make a change... o_O |

I tried editing my LM today and it did this. Wouldn't let me delete a post, then wouldn't update when I moved pages about. Pmog - .412, Firefox 2.0.0.14, Windows XP |

So, after we publish a mission, is there a way to edit it again? I searched and searched and searched the forums and can't find anything. My mission I have was working yesterday, but now my first link is missing the .com at the end. Anyone know how I can fix this? |

@Chikinlover Just go to your mission's page...there is an 'edit this mission' link right under the title... |

Same problem with the same configuration here. It's always a shame when something that important doesn't work.

@Blm As far as editing goes:
If none of those tips listed above are really helping, try just deleting it and starting over; you can use all of the lightposts that you've already deployed, it's easy to do. |
