I think you downloaded the same version you already had, because the link points to the wrong place. That's what I did by mistake. |

Just click the find updates button in your Firefox Add-ons window. Everything is easier when it's automatic. :P |

I got my upgrade by going to my firefox addons and searching for updates. |

I think the newer version thing stays until you hit dismiss. I just used the auto update too, and I've got the new version, and after hitting dismiss, no more message to upgrade.

It takes a little while for Mozilla's page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US... to update with the new version As others said, if you use the addon menu in Firefox itself to upgrade, it worked fine By the time of this post though, Mozilla's page has been updated. Lastly, the message telling you to upgrade does not go away until you hit "Dismiss", as shyiskhar said. |
