Dragon*Con is less than 20 days away. Who's going and what are you looking forward to. I'll be checking out Voltaire's act as usual, but I'm also excited the possibility of meeting a Monkee or talking to Ianto from Torchwood.

I'd love to go, but alas, not this year.
I went a few years ago with a boyfriend and met Hattie Hayridge (for those of you that have never seen it, she played the female Holly in Red Dwarf) and a few others.
If you meet any Torchwood cast, I'd better see a report!
I'll crate the hell out of you in return :)

I would love too. I went before. But, eh, the organization is terrible.

Well, I didn't actually meet Garreth David-Lloyd (Ianto), but I did attend one of his panels. Kudos to the Ravelry.com member (and friend of my wife) who gave him the hand made knit cap which he seemed to enjoy.

One of my weekend's highlights was meeting Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, nice guy with some good stories from "back in the day".

I also went with the intention this year of getting Jeremy "Boba Fett" Bulloch's autograph. I'd been seeing and chatting with him for years at the con. I was very pleased that he had pictures of himself "Hal the Archer" from a Doctor Who appearance in the early 70s. That's what I took home.
