We all know there's a few "classes" in PMOG, Seers, Destroyers, etc. But what if you could make your own? Not sure if this is in the right part of the forums... so move it if you'd like admins/mods. For me, i would make 1 called the Hobo. Hobo: Spends most time raiding crates (not ones sent to you) from diff websites, barely does other stuff. Or even the Greedy's Greedys: Barely buy anything, just keeps their fortune and collects it. They act like normal PMOG classes, but never shop. Thats my two classes, make some if you want! |

The Mutterers - a clan of no-good bums that do nothing but hang around the forums all the time. Easily spotted - low rank, but high post count. |

The Clones - when there's a switch between logins so frequently they must be the same person The Whiners - people whose profiles are constantly full of mines (whining gets a mining!) The Greedies - along the lines of noseyjohn's suggestions, people who loot crates but never, ever lay a single one themselves. I like this definition better. :-) I'd use...mmm...Scrooges for noseyjohn's version. |

Instead of Greedies or Hobos why not give it a cooler name like Treasure Hunter. Just a thought. |

The Niemans, because someone has to be a jerk with redeeming qualities. The Chatterboxes, those that just chat around the forums and don't use tools The Drama Queens... not going to explain that one. |

CRUISE CONTROLLERS - FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ONLY EVER TALK IN CAPS IN THE FORUMS? |

Mine'd probably have been better in the badge contest, Hah.

I kind of like shy's ideas. Except the added power for the Tycoons seems a bit boring compared to the others. How about if they just got access to magic crates that change the association of whoever loots it. Actually, that sounds kind of chaotic now that I read it. Nevermind then, but it would be a cool tool. |

I was trying to think of something awesome for the Benefactors, but they give stuff away... That's what they do.. I have no idea how to make that any cooler... |
craug![]() Level 20 Posts: 131 |
Bwahahahaha - I so want that prophet power, Shyishkar. I've always missed a "Thief" class, which could use lockpicks to sneak onto your profile to loot a crate (or trip a mine...) |

I'll go for Shy's rank idea... er... let me rephrase that. I like Shy's idea bout having a higher level for each association. Also, I'm wondering if you could have some kind of 'Pariah' caste, where the luckless person/people find they can't access their favoured tools etc. |

Philanthropist - Benefactors that have given over 500,000 DeePs in crates and tool value. Added power, when the Philanthropist crates 2000 DeePs in a crate (Tycoon power), PMOG matches the gift so that the recipient gets 4000. |

shyiskhar and czarchron: Awesome ideas. I'd love to see these implemented. I continue to be puzzled by people who complain about people who loot crates and don't lay their own - they don't want to be benefactors, so what? Same as I don't understand destroyers who complain about Nicks.... |

Could also better utilise the associations by tying each in to the other. For example, a Benefactor/Destroyer/Bedoin leaves 50 crates or 5,000 dp in crates. On the next crate, mines and a crate containing a small number of crates are automatically placed on their profile. Or they get crated with a mine that actually explodes upon looting. Possible benefactor ranking: maybe post-50,000dp add 2 dp for each crate left. You're leaving dp anyway, +2dp won't hurt. |

I think a Druid class would be neat...something about planting seeds that grow on sites. But then you'd have to have the Woodsmen too, for choppin' things down. |
craug![]() Level 20 Posts: 131 |
Nice. Seeds could grow into DP Trees that cause a domain to shell out more than 2DP per visit, and Woodsmen could use axes to harvest large amounts from the trees. ;) |

ooooh, cool idea guys about trees. I like it. |
masteraramil![]() Level 19 Posts: 396 |
I think something offensive for Order. Something like the Police or the Constables. |
sararosered![]() Level 20 Posts: 44 |
I like craug's idea best... I want a PMOG axe to harvest DP from trees! |

Scavengers... those that loot and loot a lot. Wearing armor and setting traps is cool, too. |

spikeyboy Level 17 Posts: 1181 |
How about The Wanderer? A Wanderer does nothing but roam around the net, coincidentally racking up DP |

A trapper? they keep you trapped on a site for a predeterminded amount of time. So you go to say, myspace.com
