There isn't an introduction thread that I could find....so I'm starting one. :) Hello. My name is Dolores. I'm a college student majoring in East Asian Studies. My hobbies are painting and messing with computers. How do you do? |

Hey, my name is Oz (offline) and Ross Mills (online) despite, officially, Ross being my offline name. It's a backwards internet handle. I am a university student in Liverpool, studying Computer Games Technology. My hobbies mostly include gaming and cult TV, although my interests in gaming extend to the development side too, especially design. I am currently waiting for two games to be published by the companies I did design work for. Then I will be ecstatic and have something official to my name before I leave University. |
gallatin![]() Level 3 Posts: 3 |
I'm Rick IRL, Gallatin in many/most online games. I used to MUD, used to blog, used to haunt newsgroups, used to BBS, used to play mmorpg's. Well, ok, I'm still stuck with that particular affliction. I work for a university in their Computer Services department. I'm so new here I haven't picked a class, faked a profile pic or even figured out what the hell I'm supposed to be doing with pmog. Hopefully I'll avoid being tasked with killing ten rats. |
joe![]() Level 10 Posts: 145 |
I'm Joe! I like signing up for things early enough that I can use 'Joe' as my handle. I'm another college student, majoring in Anthropology. I'm pretty interested in anthropology and education, so I'm hoping to be able to do something that involves both of those once I graduate. Besides that, I've been fencing for a bunch of years. And I'm also kind of obsessed with t-shirts, this being my t-shirt blog: http://blog.fantasticbonanza.com/ |

Hello! I'm Evan. Another college student, oh no. Double major in math and computer science, double minor in classical studies and art. I just finished up 6 months studying abroad in Thailand. Erm not to be broad or anything, I enjoy the outdoors (hiking, climbing, running, soccer), green things, music, games and DIY projects. http://www.kid-fiction.com/ ...we'll see if it goes up on the 29th. |

datakid, I work in IT for wilderness.org.au but my passion is elsewhere (less green, more black) - ex indymedia.org, now engagemedia.org and helping develop plumi.org |

Hi I'm Mike! (and now I feel like I'm at an AA meeting!) I'm a consultant software engineer for http://www.tessella.com I have a passion for development and software design, especially databases. I have a few publications in the fields of agent based modelling and recommender systems. Boring stuff aside! I love asian swords, particularly japanese, metal, rock, and many other kinds of music. And travelling, I spent 6 months in China before starting this job =) ... and I've been dry for 16 hours (everyone else clap) |
neko![]() Level 9 Posts: 39 |

Greetings, most call me Andrew. I'm in IT and work for a small community college in the US (Michigan to be more specific). Current additions include WoW, where they call me Grumblin, and Bridge, where they call me a dumb bunny, (long story), and Settlers of Catan, where less civil names are used... |
kidfiction![]() Level 12 Posts: 107 |
Oh yeah astland? I attend Kalamazoo College... small private liberal arts college in MI, heard of it? |

kidfiction Yeah, I'm about 2 hours north of you in Ludington (West Shore Community College www.westshore.edu ) |
cupajoe24![]() Level 9 Posts: 21 |
*claps for mikey* Hi, my name is Joe. I seem to be like the 3rd Joe in this thread. I too live in Michigan, which also makes me the third person in this thread who lives there. That's sort of eerie all things considered. Anyway, I'm a computer science major with a minor in whatever interests me. I hope to either go into networking, creating programs to aid the disabled, or start/work with an indy gaming company. I'm not terribly sure yet. We shall see where life goes no? |
stephen![]() Level 12 Posts: 49 |
Hello, I am Stephen, though you may see me as FesterCluck in IRC. I am a software developer, father of 3, and aspiring Guitarist. Still exploring my path options, though crates, armor and St. Nicks seem to tickle my fancy. |

pixielo Steward ![]() Level 20 Posts: 3369 |
Aloha, I seem to be able to use the handle Pixielo on any game I play, so if you run into a player with that name, it's probably me. I'm 31, a chef, and a resident of Washington, D.C. I seem basically to be a Pathmaker/Seer, with third fluctuation between Vigilante and Destroyer. But I harbor a secret yearning to be a Bedouin... |

I'll throw in my stuff, which you can see on http://www.gamelayers.com anyway! Marc, online alias is usually k41d3n (1337 because it's that old). I'm into unicorns and long walks on the beach. Holding hands.. I kid ;) My passion is programming, my hobbies include martial arts and paintball. If I didn't want to work for a living, I'd probably play pro paintball. That's how much of a fanatic I am. I don't play the game too much for obvious reasons, but I like the benefactor association the most. |

denzel![]() Level 8 Posts: 10 |
I'm Denzel, and since it's a fairly uncommon name I tend to be able to use it almost everywhere. I'm a home-schooled teenager so I spend terrible, self-destructive amounts of time on the internet. Hooray! Expect to see me around sometime. I get into chatting. A lot. |
hattz![]() Level 15 Posts: 26 |
right on Denzel, I spent most of my youth going though a home schooling system, good stuff. Wish I had the internet back then... sigh, the good old days, when kids were real kids and had to open books and use indexes.. |
hanli![]() Level 10 Posts: 142 |
hey all! i'm hanli, from south africa. i'm a university lecturer in a digital art depart(animation, computer games and comics - sigh... its a hard life) so i get to pass this off as 'research' :D |
gmpfree![]() Level 11 Posts: 15 |
no one from uk ? let me be the first.
I also have a feeling that 80% of people on PMOG are taking either computer-related major or work. |
hattz![]() Level 15 Posts: 26 |
yeh gmpfree, think you are right on that 80% computer related.. |

marc Trustee ![]() Level 12 Posts: 117 |
Are there other fields to consider!??! ;) |
allyson![]() Level 13 Posts: 73 |
@marc Hmm, will those few of us not from computer-related fields need to establish a pmogeon support group? A little band of librarians and chefs and artists and anthropologists...and me. Hi, my name is Allyson and while my interests (and location) are fairly apparent from the missions I make, I'll go ahead and say that I am a museum professional and yes, as part of my job I have both handled shrunken heads and investigated e-philanthropy. Seriously, everything you need to know about me is in my missions. Or will be in future missions. :) Here's an interesting fact, though: I actually learned about the alpha version of pmog from a museum-related blog!! http://museumtwo.blogspot.com/20... See? Museums aren't necessarily as antiquated or irrelevant as they are rumored to be. |
sarastani![]() Level 13 Posts: 437 |
Hi - I'm Sara. I'm not in a computer related field either. :) I did get a computer minor back in the stone age when only Netscape Navigator existed. I'm a high school teacher who's favorite subject is American history. I live in the cheesy state of Wisconsin. Have I mentioned how much I really like PMOG?
