 Mission Description
Haida Gwaii is as far west as you can possibly get and still be in Canada.
The islands are home to roughly 5000 people, with thousands of visitors every year. Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and the Haida Heritage Site are not to be missed.
The Queen Charlotte Islands were the first place in British Columbia discovered and recorded by European, Juan Perez in July 1774. Fur traders were the only visitors for the next 100 years. Missions were first established just over 100 years ago and white settlers arrived in the early 1900’s.
Haida Gwaii is one of the most perfect places on Earth.
