Sure you know GNU/Linux, but...did you know that it is not a "hacker" system anymore?
Ubuntu is a distribution with a large community and the distribution is just one thing: easy
If you take this mission, you'll get some infos about Ubuntu, the company behind it and howto run your programs/games under Linux/Ubuntu.
But you should know: Linux isn't Windows!
You'll have to learn, and sometimes you'll get a suprise...and sometimes you'll have to ask and go into the system to get maybe your printer to work.
