 Mission Description
15 years in the future, the world is a dystopian place. There are still some people trying to resist the totalitarian church-and-state government, and they are sending us worrisome information via weird websites. But it is all in pieces, and we must search laboriously for each piece by looking for clues in newspaper ads, hidden in audio files, hints on phones messages... Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero ARG (created in order to transplant the concept behind the music album from Trent Reznor's mind into the listener's) is no longer live, but this means all the pieces are in place for us to take a walking tour through the major websites. Join me on this 3-part mission and take a look at the immersive, interactive world of Year Zero! NOTE: the text of all websites is difficult to read; highlighting with CTRL-A will make it easier. WARNING! Some sites may be NSFW and include violent, gruesome, or otherwise disturbing content.
